a few new firsts for Griffin ...

On Friday, (4.24.09) Griffin rode in his jogging stroller for the first time, used a sippy cup for the first time, and found his feet! He is fascinated that he has two more appendeges to stick in his mouth! It's quite cute. We realize these tiny feats aren't all that noteworthy to most people, but since he's the light of our life, we can't help but share every little detail of his life. : )

Griffin & Isaac's first play date

Griffin and Isaac had their first playdate yesterday, April 13, 2009. As they will be for the next several months, they were a little unaware of each other. But, they both enjoyed their walks, and Griffin definitely enjoyed being with his new friend ... as you can see, Isaac's head looks like a perfect toy in Griffin's eyes!

Happy Easter!

Griffin celebrated his first Easter with his best friend and cousin Jordan in Winterset, Iowa. Brooke and I had way too much fun making the babies take pictures together - I'm sure some day they'll use these as proof that their moms are crazy! But, to be sure, they are the cutest cousins that ever were, agreed?!

Julie and Mark came to visit last week (April 2-5, 2009) so Griffin got to meet another one of his admirer's! As you can see, Julie and Griffin hit it off right from the start.

At Griffin's second trip to New Belguim Brewery, Griffin was suddenly very intrigued by the beer! He didn't get a sip, but he sure was trying!

Griffin's first brewery tours!

Griffin experienced his first brewery tour (well, not counting the few he did in mommy's tummy) last weekend when Katy was in town visiting. He loved it! (March 28, 2009)

Welcome to the world Isaac!

Isaac Cornell arrived on Friday, March 27, 2009 ... we couldn't have been more excited! Griffin was thrilled to meet the baby he had been sitting on periodically for five months. Little leaugue teams are already in the works for 2014. With the addition of Baby Boy Troge in August, we'll be well on our way to a full team!
