Gabby's 90th Birthday

Griffin and Gabby share their birthday, so November 10th was especially special this year since Gabby turned 90 and Griffin turned 5!  Grant and I made the trip to be at Gabby's special 90th birthday party.
Grant did great on his first flight!
Gabby loved getting to meet Grant
Grant and BeBop - he loves mirrors!
This was taken at Gabby's party ... she doesn't look 90, does she?!
Mallory, Tricia and Brooke ... Mallory took such good care of Grant during the party!
 Aunt Cookie and Grant
 Jack and Gabby
It was so fun to see Jordan and Peyton ... they loved holding Grant and were getting some good practice in before their little sister arrives in the spring!
 Gabby got Grant to sleep!

At the last minute, my mom decided to come to Denver and surprised Griffin and Grace ... they were so excited!
This was taken on the way home from the airport after picking my mom and I up at the air port - they were so excited!
 My mom and I
BeBop and Pop Pop gave Griffin a scooter for his birthday ...
 ... he loves it!
Grace loves to try to chase Griffin on her bike
Griffin wanted to celebrate his birthday at Chili's - which just cracks us up!
He also wanted to go to Monkey Business to celebrate his birthday
 They love it!

 They had so much fun!
We were so thankful she was able to come visit!  It was a blast.

Griffin is 5!

For Griffin's 5th birthday party we planned a race track party since riding his bike around our courtyard is his favorite thing to do.  We lucked out with 60 degree weather!  The kids had a blast.
Griffin was really involved in planning his party.  He insisted he wanted a police boat cake and didn't care at all that it didn't go with the race track theme!  It was easy so I agreed : )
Griffin wanted to make jello for his party and had fun playing with it after we had cut them out.

 All the vehicles lined up
 The tunnel Josh made
 Look who's 5!

Who's 5?  This guy!  (who clearly still has a shirt on from when he was 4 - it's a bit small but I didn't notice until the party was started and he couldn't be bothered to change!)
Josh worked so hard to make these tunnels for the kids to ride through; they were a hit.
 Griffin had a blast!
 He loves his Big Wheel
