Dancing and Determination!

Grace is 13 months old and displaying a hilarious, if not headstrong, personality these days!

Grace loves to dance by shaking her head back and forth. Tonight she would press the music button on a toy over and over again so she could dance!

Grace is trying to learn how to eat with a spoon ... after a few failed attempts, she gave up on the spoon and became quite adamant about licking the food out of the bowl instead!

Recent fun...

Some random updates:

Griffin loves to ride down the 'mountain', also known as the small hill across from our house. Sometimes we do it 10 times in a row!

He also likes to ride his bike off the beaten path - it cracks us up.

Grace is really in to carrying big things these days ...

She carries these items over to us and gives them to us with such pride! It's hard work for her and she takes it quite seriously.

She has started to look through her legs like this, and Griffin likes to do it with her. They just crack up when I play peek-a-boo with them this way!

One Year Ago ...

It's hard to believe, but we've been in our current home for a whole year! We moved one year ago, (January 21, 2011), from Wash Park to Stapleton. The year has flown by!

Grace's Dedication

Grace was dedicated last Sunday:

Eli and Grace - Eli was also dedicated, which was fun since their older brothers were dedicated together too

Here we are in church during the dedication. You can see the picture they had in the background ... when it was shown, a friend of ours said someone behind them said, "Whoa, that one looks like a wild one!" We thought this was hilarious because she is indeed a wild one! She was marching around church afterwards and got so many comments on how active she is, how spunky she is, and how funny she is. We just think she's great. : )

Grace's Birthday Party & New Year's Eve Party

We had a combined birthday party and New Year's Eve party and felt lucky to be able to celebrate with so many great friends. It was a fun night!

We call Grace our Busy Bee because she is so active all the time, so I reused her Halloween Bee tutu and made her a shirt to match:

The highlight of the party for the kids was eating Veggie Straws ... it's the little things!

The boys slept over at our house so the parents could celebrate New Year's Eve together ... they were so excited for a sleepover and loved getting jammies on together!
