Our weekend in Moab, Utah

We took a trip to Moab, Utah June 27-29, 2009. It's not far across the Utah-Colorado border and has a huge variety of rock formations and canyons. We hiked around two national parks, Arches and Canyonlands. You could spend years there and not see all these parks have to offer.
Above is a picture of the drive in along the Colorado River.
Brittni and Griffin are dwarfed by Delicate Arch, one of the most famous rock formations in the world. It's even on the Utah license plates.
Another picture of Delicate Arch in Arches National Park. After a mile and a half hike you get this view as soon as you round a corner of the cliff. Notice Griffin's arms out? He likes to keep them out doing just about anything, especially hiking!
The family at Window Arch.

This is Brittni looking through Window Arch at Canyonlands National Park. We were in an area called Island in the Sky, it felt like you could see the whole earth.
Griffin can't stop showing off his two new teeth!

Griffin quickly became the most famous hiker in Moab. He was referred to as "the tinniest hiker" by one lady and was actually video taped and photographed by a small group of Japanese tourist! He loves hiking in his backpack, except for when he falls asleep and he looks like a bobble head.
