We've been enjoying the last few weeks as Christmas approaches!
As you saw on our holiday cards, we wrapped the kids and Stella in Christmas lights ... the kids actually had a ton of fun with this (Stella wasn't impressed).
We've decorated our tree...
Griffin loved it! He was so interested in the meaning behind every ornament.
We did some holiday baking!
Griffin was excited to bring sugar cookies to his class party
Our elf, Doa, has been doing some funny things, with this 'be good' message being one of the favorites.
The kids' school did a pajama day for the holiday party ... it was so cute! The secretary actually stopped Grace and I to ask her to take this picture : )
It was fun to see Grace do her "work." First she gets her rug, then picks her work, then works on her work until it's completed. This is one of her favorite projects at school...she takes all the colors out and matches them up with their pairs, then puts them back in order. It takes her a long time but it's so cute to watch her concentrating so hard!
Grace's favorite part of the party was the cookie, of course
She also made a picture frame that she has been carrying around the house with pride ever since.
Griffin loved decorating cookies at his party!
He also made an ornament that he spent a lot of time on and was so proud of.
We went to our friend's Ugly Sweater Party ....we didn't have a ugly sweater for Grace so we just glued some weird stuff to it : )
Here we are in our ugly sweaters...Josh took the role quite seriously.
Griffin and I had a morning to ourselves while Grace was at school (his school is on a different schedule) and his favorite thing to do is bake...he loved adding sprinkles!
The kids also made cinnamon apple sauce ornaments ...
...it was messy but they loved it!
The finished products... Grace kept eating hers on accident : )
