After only a month at Westerly Creek, Griffin has learned so much! He has made some new friends and has a lot of fun at school. And he's learning a lot!
I went to his student-led conference, where he showed me the work stations in the room, the kitchen area being his favorite. He was so proud to show me around and tell me about school.
We went through this worksheet, where he showed me his journal (with entries about pretend camping with Daddy, trips with Grace, and fire trucks and rockets). He also proudly went through the worksheet: his favorite part of the day is recess and snack. His favorite center is 'playing house.' One thing he is really good at, he says, is "listening." The neatest thing he has learned at school so far is about oceans. One thing he still wants to learn is about "rockets and robot rocket ships," which he illustrated in the corner.
