Griffin's first day of school at Westerly Creek Elementary was August 26, one day after Grant was born. He handled all the changes like a champ and did great on his first day! I was so sad I couldn't be there since Grant and I were still in the hospital, so the event is well documented : )
He was excited!
He said he wants to be a police officer when he grows up!
He rode his bike on the first day along with the other 700 students ... you can see him joining the sea of kids on their way to school!

A big hug before saying good bye! He did great on his first day and has done great every day since. Griffin loves school and does really well there.
He even won an award the first week for being a "Creek Kid," a program at his school that promotes good behavior. He was so proud!
Grace was proud of him too, she said, "Good job, Griffin!" and gave him a big hug.
Grace's first day of school was September 4th (Grant's due date ... and to make things more hectic, Josh started a new job that week too). She was soooo excited to go to school like her big brother Griffin. She just couldn't wait and it was hard for her to wait a whole week to start after he started.
Here they are on Grace's first day. We love being able to ride/walk to both schools!
