Snowmass

We took a family vacation to Snowmass ... we had never been there and loved it.  We did some great hikes every day and had fun just being together.
Grant loves to play in the car
Stretching his legs at a rest stop
 Griffin loves climbing trees
Our first hike - Hanging Lake.  Grant actually loves the hiking back pack and did great on the hike.
 Hiking Hanging Lake

They love exploring on the hikes
She was excited to throw rocks in the waterfall
 Our family
On our way up - it's a steep hike!
We made it!  The view from the top is amazing - unfortunately it was starting to rain so we had to be quick.
This is my favorite hike in Colorado that I've seen so far; I think it's just amazing.
A quick family shot before rushing back down in the rain
The kids love to wheel their own luggage
After hiking Hanging Lake in the rain - we felt we deserved a beer!
Griffin took this picture of us
 Love them!
Grant and I hiking to the Ice Caves
Josh took Griffin and Grace down to the ice caves - they were nervous but the reward was worth it - it was a cave of ice down there in the middle of July!  So cool.
 What a great Dad :)
 Me and my kiddos
Griffin got so excited by all the bridges and streams on the hikes.  He'd stay there and explore for hours if we let him!
Grant loved the long hallways in our hotel so he could crawl without to having to stop!
The Maroon Bells ... this is supposed to be the most photographed part of Colorado, and you can see why!
 Grace and I
 Griffin and I
These two were champs - they hiked 10 miles over our three day trip and hardly complained once!
We finally made it to our destination and it started raining when we got there, but that didn't stop Grant from exploring.
 Our smallest hiker
It's a lot for a little one - he napped on the way down the mountain
So sweet.  We had to rig up a system to support his head.
Josh worked hard, sometimes carrying Grace and Grant!
He had a blast pushing the stroller around
 They love riding the gondola!
 Running ahead of us
Hanging out (in the rain, again) by a waterfall

Griffin was excited to see this beaver house after learning about beavers on Wild Kratts
 So pretty
Sich a good hiker (at that moment at least!)
They had a blast together playing rescue workers
 Such good buddies
A lake near the Maroon Bells
 Roasting marshmallows at our hotel
She can't help but eat them before they're even roasted
We have our coats on because it was raining - again.
 So much fun!

They had a blast running up the mountain!
