My mom proved her driving stamina by driving from Ohio, to Iowa to pick up Gabby, and then on to Denver last week. We spent a week together visiting parks, the children's museum, Boulder, Estes Park, Grand Lake, and Garden of the Gods! By the end of the week, we were all tired but thankful for all of the fun memories!

The beginning of our "mountain tour" ...
We drove through the Rocky Mountain National Forest from Estes Park to Grand Lake ... this is our first stop.

This cracked us up ... Griffin was putting the car keys in all the knots of the wood and trying to "unlock" it ... it was so cute!
Griffin was quite the hiker ... he loved walking on the rock ledge ...
Although Griffin was too squirmy to sit still for a picture (standard these days), he had a lot of fun!
We went out to breakfast before seeing the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and Griffin loved sharing our huge cinnamon roll!
