We were so lucky to have my parents come out to visit last week. They were incredibly generous with their time and talent ... they watched the kids while Josh and I took a trip with friends to Mexico, but also did some amazing things to our house: created the best big-boy room for Griffin, and added onto our deck!

We visited a small pumpkin patch at the neighborhood school and Griffin picked out his own pumpkin ... we laughed because he picked out the only one that was slightly flat.

And here's the best part of all ... Check out Griffin's room! He wanted a fire truck on his wall, and BeBop sure delivered! This is some of her best work yet; we are so lucky! Griffin loves his fire truck, every time he goes in his room he just stares at it with wonder!

Pop Pop was busy too, he added an addition onto our deck to connect our stoop with our deck so that we now have a much more convenient and useable deck ... it's AWESOME!
