Griffin had a fun 3rd birthday party! He loved helping us get ready for the party - another sign that he's growing up too fast!
He woke up Sunday morning to the long-awaited arrival of his bulldozer cake that he requested. He had asked for one weeks before his birthday and it was hard to wait until his party to see it!

Josh and I went a little crazy and bought a bouncy castle for Griffin's birthday ... we let him set it up in the morning so it'd be easier to share it at the party. He went NUTS:

As soon as it blew up, Griffin immediately recognized the endurance needed for bouncy house jumping. He decided he'd need to stay cool, so stripped down to his undies.
And he's off!
Jumping is Griffin's favorite activity, if you can't tell : )

It was fun to see the kids playing together.
Then we accidentally let the motor over heat, causing the bouncy castle to deflate. Griffin was distraught. Thankfully, Josh got it working again ...
Which is cause for big hugs! Griffin was so happy that it was working again!
Later that day Griffin did a great job helping get ready for the party:

Griffin was so excited to light his candles. He started singing to himself before we even had the candles lit:
