We had a fun Thanksgiving weekend complete with a visit from Grammy and an early Christmas celebration too!
We started it all off with Griffin's preschool's Thanksgiving party:

We were able to go to the zoo on an unseasonably warm day:

Grace was all smiles!

Grace was so happy on the carousel! It was the happiest I've seen her ... her little body was just shaking with excitement and she clapped the whole time.
On Thanksgiving it was 69 degrees, so we took the opportunity to set up the bouncy castle:
Griffin loved to be dropped into the bounce house
Griffin was wiped out after jumping!
Griffin helped me make Grace a matching turkey hat
The kids in their hats (which lasted about two seconds before Grace tried to eat hers)

Grace wanted to help check on the turkey too
Grace's first Thanksgiving was a success ... she loved mashed potatoes and gravy!
Griffin and I during dinner
That night Griffin had spiced apple cider and LOVED it!

After dinner was over we told him Christmas was next ... he was so excited. In this picture he's holding his letter that he wrote to Santa. He was so proud of it and showed it to each of us, saying that he told Santa that he wants a digger present and a digger book.
The next day we set up the Christmas tree to prepare for our Christmas celebration with Grammy.

The kids love the tree!
