Sunday, August 24th was the last day of summer before Griffin, Isaac, and Cohen started kindergarten. It was fun to spend this day together ... and a bit surreal to think that they spent the last 5ish years playing together and are now going to three different schools for kindergarten, despite living within a half mile of each other.
It was the perfect end to a great summer ... we went to the farmer's market, played outside, went to the pool, and had an impromptu "first day of kindergarten" party that evening.

A the Farmer's Market with our best buddies
They are growing up so fast
A little tennis in the alley
Fun at the pool

Griffin made this sign for the party by himself (the random letters are the initials for Griffin, Isaac, Cohen, Grace, and Eli)
We wanted to get a picture of the boys and Eli and Grace wanted to be in the picture so badly. We thought it was pretty funny.
Laurie ended up getting a great one
All the kids on the fountain

Griffin's teacher left him magic glitter to put under his pillow the night before his 1st day of kindergarten to get rid of the 1st day jitters and help him sleep. The next day he said he thought they were too powerful because he slept so well it was hard to wake up for school the next day.
Meanwhile, Josh, Isaac, and Joel were on a 3 day hike across the Continental Divide with friends. It looked like a beautiful trip!
They rode the train back to Denver from Fraser, Colorado
